ABOUT      the

Chefs

Chef Billie Sutton: I have always had a true passion for cooking and design, this began at a young age. I would often be inspired by the edible creations at my mother’s bakery. Once, I realized I was going to make a career out of my love of Food & Styling, I decided to go to The California School of Culinary Arts/Le Cordon Bleu Program. Additionally I received a Food Science Certification from HarvardEDX and completed the Chef De Cuisine Exam from the American Culinary Federation. In order to advance my food styling skills I enrolled in a Master Class in photography by Annie Leibovitz.  I am excited to share my love of “Food, Art and Style“ with you! I combine my creative eye to every aspect of food styling and entertaining, from creating props to producing events to developing recipes.

Chef Luis Castro: I started my career at the popular Patina Group and worked my way up in a variety of positions until becoming an Executive Chef for Jennifer Lopez's Restaurant, Madres in Pasadena. This led me to fulfilling one of my life long dreams of owning my own Puerto Rican Restaurant "Old San Juan" in Atwater Village. Eager to progress my career in the food styling arena I began working with some of the top TV shows and films ,Westworld, This is Us, NCIS, 911 Lonestar, Call of the Wild and Barbie Movie to name a few. I am a member of Union Local 44 as a Food Stylist and Prop Master Assistant. Watch my Food Styling Reel here.
